With a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Jian Jun has over a decade’s experience with the Ichi Seiki technical team, troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical machine faults. He leads our projects integrating automation and digitization solutions with CNC machine tools.

As our Assistant Technical Team Leader, Jian Jun is a calm and steady presence in critical situations. He believes in identifying root causes to ensure machine quality is maintained and equipping end users with practical knowledge to minimize machine downtime.

Jian Jun trains and mentors our junior engineers in the installation, inspection, servicing, and maintenance of machine tools. As the Founder and Managing Director of Ichi Seiki, Philip strongly believes that true leadership is put to the test in times of crisis. He takes pride in the teamwork and resilience that has seen Ichi Seiki weather multiple crises over the last 3 decades. Throughout the ups and downs in his career, he remains true to his humble beginnings as a trainee working hard for a technological certificate from the City and Guilds of London Institute.

Outside of work, Philip enjoys keeping fit and does regular morning breathing exercises with a close-knit group of friends.
